It's More Fun in Iligan City!

Have you ever been to a city flooded with wonders? Wonders that is so extraordinary that will dignify you to call it home. Wonders so majestic that will move you to be an environmentalist. Wonders so awesome that will influence your life in a good way. If not yet, get ready because you are about to. I am Johnson "John" Badawi and allow me to take you on a tour on to a city full of wonders. Together let us embark on a journey to Iligan City, the city of overflowing wonders.

Let me start by saying that Iligan City is super amazing in many ways. It is one heck of a tourist-visited city. Know why? It is because this Region 10 city has unique sites you can enjoy. Timoga Spring, the Maze parks, Hindang caves and the majestic falls (Limunsudan, Tinago, Mimbalut and of course the ever famous Maria Christina falls) are just a few of the spots you can go to. No wonder why Iligan City is called "the city of magnificent falls". Now, let me point out the famous Maria Christina Falls. This fall does not just supply a great amount of energy. It also provides a feeling of satisfaction to the viewer of the grandeur falls. "Fountainhead of Progress" as quoted, this falls serves as an educational site for students. On the other hand, the various resorts of Iligan City also accommodate the tourist from all over the world. The swimming pools in these resorts are cool like literally. So if you are into the refreshing swim, you might want to give it a shot because for sure it will give you a shiver of enjoyment. Now, let us explore the city. Busy streets, colorful jeepneys and different stores everywhere will entertain you. This Northern Mindanao city is well-developed in terms of economic and industrial growth. The infrastructures are incredible. Every corner you can find fast food chains, shopping centers, boutiques, mall and mini-malls where you can stroll to. It's no doubt this city keeps receiving investments from various companies. Whether natural wonders or man-made, it is all here.

Iligan city is culturally diverse. Higaonons, Maranaos, Kolinugan, Bisaya, and Tagalog are just a few tribes you can find here. Christian or Muslim, whatever you are, you are welcome here. You can basically practice whatever culture you have. Culture is treasured here. Now, that might be the reason why the way of life is carefully preserved in Iligan city. Tradition and culture showcasing are highly appreciated which is apparent in the numerous festivals celebrated by the people of Iligan. One of the most acclaimed feasts is the Feast of Saint Michael celebrated on the 20th of September. This feast features the protector St. Michael who is loved and respected by the Iliganons and every resident of Iligan city. If you want to witness a colorful festival, be part of the whole affair. See that, Iligan is truly a wonderful city.

Had enough? If not yet, try meeting the people of Iligan city. I mean, the loving people of Iligan. Without these people, there is not really an Iligan city. All of the blessings showered upon Iligan is because of the Iliganons. Now, you probably are wondering what kind of people are the Iliganons. Let me tell you, they will kill you with kindness. These people are great. They are entertaining, approachable and hospitable as any other Filipino citizen. Trust me, you will love these people! Iligan city soars high because of the hard-working and good-mannered Iliganons.

Would you consider visiting Iligan now? I know you do. This is just a short passage about Iligan city but surely the point is vividly depicted. Iligan city is superb, alright! Wonders of nature, the place itself, the traditions and culture and of course the people themselves constitute the flood of amazing wonders that overflows upon Iligan city. It is really wonderful. Overall, you can say now that it is really more fun in Iligan city.
